(not where executor is, but my holding area for Mac downloads) - Then I run BinHex and choose Download > Application. - Then I select the file from the Macintosh download directory. - Then I select the destination (usually my Jesse Mac Volume). - Then it starts and shows the creator as a garbage string and the file type as a garbage string, and locks up. Basically, this is exactly what you said, except with massively different results. :) I am beginning to suspect that it is an AOL problem, though. What I think happens is that the AOL software is so INTUITIVE that it allows them MAC users to upload files and IT encodes them for you, and then it is supposed to auto-decode them when you download them (similar to the way the PC version is supposed to auto-unzip). What I think happens is that the PC version doesn't do this, so it gives me what is supposed to be an encoded file, even though it isn't. <g> Or something like that anyway. What I think I'm gonna do is go onto AOL and look into some more details on this tomorrow. :) ||||| Jesse D. Sightler ||||| BTW- Thanx for your help, folx. Maybe I'll figger this thing out sometime soon. :)
