  14. Hello all, I am using the "m" version on a linux machine
  15. and have been trying to install some software packages
  16. and having no luck.  I have tried
  17. putting adobe illustrator 5.0 on and it wont
  18. even read the install disk. then I tried
  19. microsoft office and when I try to install it
  20. comes back with an error that my preferences folder
  21. is read only.
