It is interesting that one list member suggests moving Executor/DOS to

It is just a matter of perspecting. For example, I would not use
Executor/Linux if it didn't run under X11. X is all I use. This is
similar to the statement by the Windows users for whom Executor was
the only DOS program they retained.
I doubt Executor would gain much from a move away from X. You will gain
much more by upgrading your hardware - a fast processor and graphics card,
costing still less than an Apple Macintosh, improves executor no end.

It is easy. I do it myself. Just get a 1.44M disk that has been formatted
on a Mac, and:
cat /dev/fd0 >my_mac_disk
Then, whenever you want another Mac disk, copy it back:
cat my_mac_disk >/dev/fd0
