I would like to generate a dialogue for those who are using that app. What is an appropriate setting to establish Exec? I use -nosplash -applzone 4500 on a 486DX-50 machine with 8 M ram. I can get Exec to find the app on a floppy, load the floppy, see a variety of windows (system, demo), click on the NIH-IMAGE button (which is put on the menu after I click on look for disk) and see the program load. I then try to load a small graphics image (about 50K, tif file) from the floppy. Once it worked but the program kicked me out when I tried to manipulate the Lookup Table graphic. Once the program kicked me out of Exec when I clicked on the image to load it. Each time I am booted out, I push the machines reset button to reset my system, and cannot reload Executor. I just receive the list of ea=..., etc. I must turn the machine off to reload. I have yet to find a stable configuration for Exec that allows me to run the Image program (which is Image 1.55). COuld someone who has successfully loaded Image rsvp with their configuration for exec. If others have had problems with this program specifically, could we hear about them so I do not have to feel so dumb after reading about all those successful uses of Exec for fun and games (which I do not care about). Thanks, Bill Saidel
