  11. I am having problems using Exec199m (and 199l) for the application NIH-Image.
  12. I would like to generate a dialogue for those who are using that app.

  14. What is an appropriate setting to establish Exec?
  15.     I use -nosplash -applzone 4500 on a 486DX-50 machine with 8 M ram.

  17. I can get Exec to find the app on a floppy, load the floppy, see a variety of
  18. windows (system, demo), click on the NIH-IMAGE button (which is put on the
  19. menu after I click on look for disk) and see the program load.

  21. I then try to load a small graphics image (about 50K, tif file) from the
  22. floppy. Once it worked but the program kicked me out when I tried to
  23. manipulate the Lookup Table graphic. 
  24. Once the program kicked me out of Exec when I clicked on the image to load
  25. it.
  26. Each time I am booted out, I push the machines reset button to reset my
  27. system, and cannot reload Executor. I just receive the list of ea=..., etc.
  28. I must turn the machine off to reload.

  30. I have yet to find a stable configuration for Exec that allows me to run the
  31. Image program (which is Image 1.55).

  33. COuld someone who has successfully loaded Image rsvp with their configuration
  34. for exec. If others have had problems with this program specifically, could
  35. we hear about them  so I do not have to feel so dumb after reading about all
  36. those successful uses of Exec for fun and games (which I do not care about).
