  14.   Please tell me more about this. This has been a major pain for me here as
  15. our macs are SEs' and all I ever get from people is "You can not format or
  16. read an 800k disk on your PC 'cause of the drive" Never mind the fact that I
  17. can read 720k (740?) PC disks and/or 1.44 and take the 720 to our Amiga and
  18. it reads. Never mind the fact that it can read both high Density and normal
  19. disks. I am thankful to hear about this "Deluxe Option Board" as now maybe I
  20. can truely get a multi format set up going. The way I have to do it now is
  21. use Mac-n-dos to format, Executor to move files (Mac-n-dos does it too
  22. but...) and then one of the fellows that works here brings in his Mac laptop
  23. and puts the file on it and then formats an 800k disk on the SE and puts
  24. that....well, you get the idea. Argggghhhhhhh!!!!!! 
  25.   SO basicly...tell me everything you can about this product. Is it an add in
  26. board? Or software only? Thanks fer the time.

  31. Well, this is a small half sized board that plugs into a slot and attaches
  32. between my disk controller and floppies/tape drive.

  34. It allows me to copy protected disks, speeds up my tape drive and lets me
  35. read/write/format Mac 800k diskettes with simple commands:

  38. ----------------------------------------
  39. DIR            MDIR
  40. FORMAT    MFORMAT
  41. CD             MCD
  42. etc....

  44. I didn't know the board was discontinued as upgraded software is posted every
  45. so often on Central Points BBS.
