Hi guys!
This is going to be my last post for a while (a week, i think), i ll go
on Holidays, so, dont release new versions till i return ( 8-) )
Well, those are the last errors i found in 1.99L (in fact there is only o=
ne
and a half). I dont think there would be more errors in 1.99L execept the=
apps ones, so when I return i'll dedicate lots of time to try Commercial
and Shareware well Known APPS. Do you have any preferences? From the apps=
notes
list i can test the following:
Excel 4 Macdraw Norton Ut. 2.0
Hypercard Maelstrom (Extensive texted) Prince of P. (demo)
Freehand PageMaker 5 File Maker pro 2.1
and ShareWare APPS in the MACWORLD CD NB1 Spanish version there are a =
lot I cant test and upload What ever U want if U wanna test them too.

1.- When having an active window (and having opened it in the session,not=
stored from past sessions), check for disks and use the hot band left
or rights buttons to desplace between units (So U must have 5 HDs at star=
t
and then insert a DISK and check for files) Executor goes back to DOS
(It's necessery to have the opened window active)
To recreate follow this steps carefully:
Make sure U have 5 HDs in the hot band and restart Executor
Open one of these HDs from hot band and dont click anymoure
Insert a MAC disk, so the left and right buttons of the hot
band will be useful!
Press ALT MAYS 2 and then (with the mouse) check for disk
Making sure the window U opened before is active, click on
the right or left button of the hot band and U'll be in
DOS in a second
By the way, doing this several times is a good way to corrupt the
Filesystem!
KEYBOARD ERROR (More a SERIOUS suggestion than a bug, but Maybe not!)

I hope U consider there are people that dont have English as
their native languaje. This is my case. Spanish keyboard has the =
=A4 (pronounced enie), just right from the L, and accents and son on
I dont know how the MACs manage this, but if Executor can't manage
several languajes this could be bad for U (For example, in Spain nobody
would buy E/D to work with, if they cant write their native languaje
correctly) Please consider this.

MAELSTROM
A little error: In a real MAC when U get a medical kit, a fire
feature is added (sometimes) to the spaceship. There is one that
consist on incrementig the speed of the fire and the lenth it covers
--> So you can kill everyone pressing and holding pressed the fire key=
But in E/D i have to press and release, I cant hold pressed and get
this funny fire (obiusly having got the Medic kit and confirmed the
item it has given to me is the correct one. It has a tree blue dots in =
vertical:

The rest seems to work fine (using refresh 5 and sound 0)
QUESTIONS and Suggestions!
You say in FAQs that after a hackathon period U will be working
during six weeks in beta versions of 2.0. Will this beta version be
available to the public (time limited demo) to help U with the beta test
or not?
Maybe U can say in FAQ that working with 800Kb MAC diskettes in
a PC is phisically imposible due to Hardware! (No need response to that)
When U say E/D will support Network support do U wanna mean:
a) Using Ethernet CARD U ll conect throught and ETHERTALK net like a MAC
and using normal MAC comms software
b) Using serial port and with a PhoneNet adapter connect it to a normal
Appletalk net (Optimal solution i think)
c) Other (Please especify, i work moslty on Networks)
Is there any other way as well as beta tester (and publicist)
that i can help U with E/D? (I have personal reasons to that, not economi=
cal =
or other kind of reasons, and some free time to spend)
And thats all, If nothing strange happens (For example, U answer this
