  18. archive as the binary since we already have them!  Make two separate archives

  37. I am curious.. When will that be out? I constantly FTP to 
  38. 'mammoth.cs.unm.edu' to see if it is there yet.. Also, how many more 
  39. versions until v2.0?

  78. Yes, it makes a lot of sense.  However, we have to be very careful so
  79. that we don't get people who inadvertantly get mismatches between
  80. their System file and their copy of Executor, or weird problems (like
  81. the ones I introduced with "Printer" or the BinHex configuration file)
  82. due to other conflicts.

  84. The right way to do it is pre-packaged sets of updaters, that convert
  85. from 1.99k to 1.99l, for instance.  They'd do a quick check to make
  86. sure that your system really has 1.99k and then just modify the
  87. relevant files, using a binary differences program to do the
  88. modification.  We have written some of the tools that will be used to
  89. provide this facility, but most likely they won't appear until 1.99m
  90. is out, since 1.99l should be out very soon.

  122. Yes I have had similar problems since I upgraded from dos 5.0 to dos 
  123. 6.22.  If I use the EMM386 and HIMEM.SYS from my old version of dos 
  124. everything works fine but I miss out on the new capabilities of the dos 
  125. 6.22 versions.  Is it some settings in these files that is causing the 
  126. problem, if so how can we get executor to work?
