  1. Out of curiosity, is it actually possible to purchase a registered version
  2. of Executor for linux?

  4. Also, is anyone using the linux demo finding that the cursor is a black 
  5. box with a blank centre where the cursor should be, rather than a normal
  6. looking mac cursor?

  25. I've just installed Executor 1.99h demo on my
  26. Gateway 2000 P5-60.  I have 16Mb RAM..
  27.  
  28. Soemtimes, when I get the "first" menu/requestor, (With options of
  29. System or Utils) the mouse just doesn't move, and at other times, I
  30. can move the mouse but can't click on anything.. well, there's no response...
  31.  
  32. But the one or two times that Executor DID work, the screen easily got
  33. garbled with totally messed up garbage... the mouse pointer would leave
  34. trails for one thing.  This is from running the demos and such that
  35. come with the demo.  As I move the pointer around, it clears the screen
  36. up SOME but not not all...
  37.  
  38. Any clue as to why this is happening??
  39. Could it be the ATI PCI Mach 32 video card that this system came with?
  40.  
  41. Also, anyone have any clue how much the release/commercial (v2.0?)  version
  42. of Executor is going to cost?

  78. I quite frequently get the problem of entering executor and I can 
  79. move the mouse but I cannot select anything on the file system menu 
  80. (I do get through the title and license screens).  I noticed it 
  81. happens more frequently when I am loading executor after I had 
  82. already ran it and exited.

  90. I had this same problem on a PS/2 with XGA2 graphics.

  120. The cursor looks fine when I run it locally, but when I ran it over a PPP 
  121. connection to a VAX running DECwindows (to show my friends at school), I 
  122. had that same problem.  The VAX runs X11R5, I'm running X11R6.  If you 
  123. haven't upgraded to XFree86 3.1 (X11R6) perhaps that's your problem...
