  1. I have everything loaded in my autoexec and config, but i also have 12 
  2. megs of memory. Have u tried loading only himem or only himem and emm386?
  3. And try FILES and BUFFERS at 30.

  50. Thanks.  I've got 4 Megs, and it does work with just himem and emm386.  
  51. Maybe it's a conflict with something further down the list?  I'm running 
  52. on a laptop; maybe it's got a conflict with my power managers.  You seem 
  53. to think it's a memory shortage, though.  I've got 4 Megs, but I can't 
  54. manage to set an -applzone larger than 1250 without crashing, with 
  55. nothing loaded except my mouse driver.  Is that normal?
