  19. I've had problems in running terminal emulation to NeXT black
  20. hardware.  (Read this as "I'm having general serial problems
  21. connecting to next hardware") I suspect that the problem is that the
  22. NeXT is driving the line at RS422 voltages (-5 to 5 volts) whereas the
  23. newton expects standard RS232 (-12 to 12 volts).  
  24.  
  25. Given these problems, and my assumptions being correct, I would expect
  26. folks to have problems running the Newton Connection kit with NeXT
  27. black hardware.
