  14. you might as well forget about 800K floppies, they are physically, low-level,
  15. impossible to read by the floppy controllers of non-mac computers. Your best
  16. and only option is to read them on a Mac and then rewrite them on a 1,44K floppy.

  18. Sorry about that, it's a consequence of Steve Wozniak's genius. Apple didn't want to
  19. buy a floppy controller so he hacked his own, and it integrated in the Mac as the
  20. Super Wozniak Integrated Machine chip (SWIM). Everyone else used standard industy
  21. drives and chips...
