We have indeed been quite busy working on the 1.99x->2.0 transition.
Cliff's on vacation in Colorado right now, but he brought a Linux
laptop along so he could do some work. Before he left he uploaded
Executor/Linux 1.99c to ftp.cs.unm.edu:/pub/ARDI. We didn't make a
1.99c for DOS because the DOS changes weren't significant enough to
warrant a new release, but we'll get back in sync when 1.99d comes
out. 1.99d for DOS (and _possibly_ Linux and NEXTSTEP) will have
totally revamped graphics support, allowing users more control over
screen sizes and pixel depths. Changing these parameters on the fly
will be possible before 2.0.
Oh, and for you Linux users out there: my plate's pretty full these
days, but I think I'll bring over the latest experimental Linux kernel
and try to find out why it doesn't work with Executor. Since ARDI is
running 1.1.51, we haven't seen this bug firsthand. The claim is that
kernel 1.1.62 breaks Executor, but kernel 1.1.61 works? I've done
Linux kernel debugging before, but if anyone has an idea what's going
