  9.         Sorry about the student rate comment...
  10.  
  11.         I've found that i can get floppies to more often work than not if i
  12. format them using the dos version of MactoDos, but it still doesm't always work.
  13.  
  14.         Write Now 4.0, a very small bu rather full-featured word processor
  15. for the Mac runs under Executor/DOS 1.99b execept for a few things:

  17.         Can't be started first, must run something then run Write Now
  18.                 
  19.         Mouse dissappears when you begin typing, then reappears when a
  20. dialouge         box is used, then doesn't dissappear anymore.

  22.         Making text a different color works, but changing the color of a table
  23.         frezzes Executor and requires a reset :(
  24.  
  25.         Other than that it seems to run fine and is an acceptable
  26. alternative to MS Word.  Especially if you do not need a very heavy duty WP.

  28.         Speedometer 4.0 works but returns massivly incorrect benchmarks.

  30.         My setup is a 486sx33, 6MB RAM:  i run with the following switches

  32.                 -nosplash -applzone 3072 -macbpp 8 -realbpp 8

  34.         Hope this helps, i'll be trying out more software soon, just need
  35. that floppy to be reliable...
