  17.         Sorry about the student rate comment...

  19.         I've found that i can get floppies to more often work than not if i
  20. format them using the dos version of MactoDos, but it still doesm't always work.

  22.         Write Now 4.0, a very small bu rather full-featured word processor
  23. for the Mac runs under Executor/DOS 1.99b execept for a few things:

  25.         Can't be started first, must run something then run Write Now
  26.                 
  27.         Mouse dissappears when you begin typing, then reappears when a
  28. dialouge         box is used, then doesn't dissappear anymore.

  30.         Making text a different color works, but changing the color of a table
  31.         frezzes Executor and requires a reset :(

  33.         Other than that it seems to run fine and is an acceptable
  34. alternative to MS Word.  Especially if you do not need a very heavy duty WP.

  36.         Speedometer 4.0 works but returns massivly incorrect benchmarks.

  38.         My setup is a 486sx33, 6MB RAM:  i run with the following switches

  40.                 -nosplash -applzone 3072 -macbpp 8 -realbpp 8

  42.         Hope this helps, i'll be trying out more software soon, just need
  43. that floppy to be reliable...
