  3.     We're mailing Executor V1.2 today and it allows 2-up  
  4. printing.  Now when you choose "Page Setup..." or "Print..." from a  
  5. Mac menu, the Mac panel gets called *and* the appropriate NeXT panel  
  6. gets called.
  7.  
  8.     We haven't actually sealed any envelopes yet, so there's  
  9. still a chance for a show-stopper, but I won't be leaving the office  
  10. until V1.2 is in the mail.  We should have a few of them in by the  
  11. 5pm pickup and the rest in by 11pm at the main post office for  
  12. Albuquerque, meaning you should have your copy by the end of the  
  13. week.

  33.     Although we started the build process for V1.2 on Monday, we  
  34. only now just got all of the single user, enabled for Word disks in  
  35. the mail.  We decided not to send them piecemeal, but instead to wait  
  36. to seal them all at the same time on the off chance that, at the last  
  37. minute, we would discover that we overlooked something.  The only  
  38. thing we overlooked is that we had a lot of disks to make.  We should  
  39. get the remaining orders out later today and tomorrow.

  59.     Now that V1.2 is shipping, I cooked up a new version of  
  60. Executor-DEMO, that uses the current Executor/ROMlib sources.  The  
  61. three applications that are supplied are the same, but the new  
  62. features like "Preferences..." and "Pause" are there.  The ARDI  
  63. propaganda has also been updated to reflect that we now support Word5  
  64. and Excel3 in addition to Word4.
  65.  
  66.     If you've purchased a copy of Executor already, then your  
  67. copy of V1.2 will be showing up in your mailbox fairly soon, but if  
  68. not, you may want to check out our new demo.  It's freely  
  69. redistributable, so you can also give it to people who don't have  
  70. easy access to ftp.

  72.     On unmvax.cs.unm.edu, it's in pub/ardi/DEMO.
  73.     On Sonata.cc.purdue.edu, it's in pub/next/submissions.

  110. I got v1.2 last week, finally installed it, and it DOESN'T DO  
  111. THIS!!!!

  114. You do get the Print object when you "Print," but then v1.1 did that!   
  115. When I invoke "Page Setup" I don't get the "Page Layout" object which  
  116. would allow me to specify 2-up.

  152. I answered my own question before anyone even pointed it out!

  154. You have to click "OK" on the "Page Setup" box before getting the  
  155. NeXT Page Layout panel.
