You can't use the folders "Trash" or "Desktop Folder". They are artifacts of the way the Executor 2 hybrid CD-ROM was created.
If you are running the NEXTSTEP operating system and you are trying to install Executor, but you can't find the install script, you need to become root and type these commands:
cd /usr/filesystems
mv mac.fs mac.fs.SAVE
That will tell NEXTSTEP to ignore the Macintosh portion of the Executor 2 CD-ROM. You should then eject the Executor 2 CD-ROM and re-insert it. NEXTSTEP will then see the ISO-9660 portion of the Executor 2 CD-ROM, and you'll then be able to run the nextstep/install script to install Executor 2.
If you want NEXTSTEP to recognize Macintosh filesystems again, you can undo the above modification by becoming root and typing these commands:
cd /usr/filesystems
mv mac.fs.SAVE mac.fs
NOTE: When Executor runs, it will temporarily move mac.fs aside, because Executor needs to access Mac formatted media directly, and NEXTSTEP gets in the way.
