  1. This is LiftOff version 2.1 which works on NEXTSTEP 3.1 
  2. (probably 3.0 too). Its fat so should work with black and white hardware.

  4. LiftOff is a simple but useful dock extender.  Its low cost shareware.
  5. It doesnt have  the bells and whistles of the more commercial dock extenders,
  6. but doesnt have their price tag either.

  10. What is LiftOff?
  11.  
  12. LiftOff allows you to extend the functionality of the Application Dock
  13. and allows you to keep many more of your favorite applications at your
  14. `fingertips'.  LiftOff is made available on the try before you buy
  15. basis.  You are free to use LiftOff on a trial basis for a period of
  16. ten (10) days.  After this time, you must either purchase LiftOff at
  17. the price of $10 US funds or destroy all copies of LiftOff in your possession.

  21. Note that there are a few changes in the interface for adding files to
  22. the LiftOff panel because NeXT has usurped all dragging into app
  23. icons.  I'm sure there's some way around this but I have not had time
  24. to investigate this.
