  2.                             NeXTcontour V1.7

  4.   A contour plot program for the NeXT based on Pieter Bunings' PLOT3D
  5. package for Computational Fluid Dynamics.  The code has a pretty
  6. extensive help selectable from the interface.  
  7.  
  8. The code has been written on a 68040 Cube running NeXTStep 2.1 and
  9. using the InterfaceBuilder.  After you have uncompressed and untarred
  10. the files just type "make" to create a new version of the executable
  11. If you don't have all the things you need to make a new executable or
  12. don't want to bother, the executable NeXTcontour.app is provided
  13. and doesn't need any of the other files provided.

  15. This program may or maynot work under 1.0, but should work for 2.0 or
  16. higher systems.
  17.  
  18. The code contour_plot.c was generated using f2c from contour_plot.f .
  19.  
  20.  A sample 2D grid: test_xy.bin and data file: test_sol.bin are provided.
  21.  To use you must first set "2D Data" on control panel.  This is a
  22. two-dimensional solution of the Euler equations for transonic flow
  23. past a NACA 0012 airfoil.
