TeleComm README
Thank you for taking the time to down load TeleComm. TeleComm is a NEXTSTEP telecommunications application which is both flexible and affordable. Please read through the installation instructions to ensure a quick and easy start!
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
For TeleComm work properly, it must be installed as root. If you don't have this privilege, then ask your system administrator to help you with the install. Next, launch the Installer application by double clicking the TeleComm.pkg. Choose a location for installation. The default is ~/Apps. Once this is done, start TeleComm with a double click. You will be prompted to provide a valid registration code. You may choose Demo at this time, or contact Zion Software & Consulting or your distributor for purchase arrangements. Once TeleComm is purchased, a valid registration code will enable TeleComm to work without time limit. In Demo mode, TeleComm will quit after 10 minutes.
Release Notes
The following should be noted:
A) an unregistered copy of TeleComm will quit after 10 minutes.
B) if other is the chosen port with "pty" specified, special characters will
not be set up properly, so stty commands must be used.
C) The IBMPC emulator in this release does not provide the IBM EXTENDED ASCII
characters. You may be able to disable this feature with your personal
