  27.        o This routine informs the commit service that the  status  of  a
  28.          distributed  transaction  should  be  changed  from  "begin" to
  29.          "abort."

  31.   PARAMETERS:
  32.        connect -  A pointer to the DBPROCESS used  to  communicate  with
  33.            the commit service.
  34.        commid -  The commid used to identify the transaction to the com-
  35.            mit service.
