- Operating Instructions
- ----------------------
-
- To begin using MEMBER, first copy it to another diskette
- (for backup), using the the FORMAT and DISKCOPY utilities that are
- provided on your Personal Computer. The new diskette will become
- your "backup diskette". Once done, the programs may then be copied
- onto any existing diskette you have by simply loading and saving
- them.
-
-
- Once the new copy is made, you may begin using it. This is
- done by first starting up advanced basic (BASICA). Instructions
- on how to do this may be found in the IBM BASIC manual.
-
-
- Once BASICA is started, place the diskette containing the
- program in drive A and the EASYMAIL diskette in drive B and type:
- RUN "MEMBER
-
-
- Once started, a series of prompts will be presented that
- request information to be entered. Additional documentation is
- made available at that time. Be certain that when you start using
- the MEMBER system that the EASYMAIL file has been set-up (ERASED)
- using the BUILD FILE function in EASYMAIL. This will assure that
- the membership and mailing list will be in sync.
