  1.      The MEMBER     program is a set of programs that may be used 
  2. to keep track of membership in clubs/dues on the IBM PC.It works in 
  3. conjunction with the EASYMAIL set of programs to   
  4. provide both a mailing list system and a membership role.This program 
  5. may be used on either the monochrome display or on a 
  6. high-resolution color monitor capable of displaying 80 characters
  7. or on a medium-resolution color monitor capable of displaying 40
  8. characters (such as a TV).

  11. Operating Instructions

  14.      To begin using MEMBER,     first copy it to another diskette
  15. (for backup), using the the FORMAT and DISKCOPY utilities that are 
  16. provided on your Personal Computer.   The new diskette will become 
  17. your "backup diskette".  Once done, the programs may then be copied
  18. onto any existing diskette you have by simply loading and saving
  19. them.

  22.      Once the new copy is made, you may begin using it.  This is
  23. done by first starting up advanced basic (BASICA).  Instructions
  24. on how to do this may be found in the IBM BASIC manual.

  27.      Once BASICA is started, place the diskette containing the
  28. program in drive A and the EASYMAIL diskette in drive B and type:
  29.                  RUN "MEMBER              
  30.  
  31.  
  32.      Once started, a series of prompts will be presented that
  33. request information to be entered. Additional documentation is         
  34. made available at that time. Be certain that when you start using
  35. the MEMBER system that the EASYMAIL file has been set-up (ERASED)
  36. using the BUILD FILE function in EASYMAIL.  This will assure that
  37. the membership and mailing list will be in sync.
