- was created. This is not, however, alway the
- case. Some programs will change the file -
- date when the file is modified or posted.

- This area of your program will allow you to search your
- files (all of them) by any entry you have made about it.
- You can locate any file by: > NAME
- > EXTENSION
- > DATE
- > SIZE
- > TIME
- > LABEL
- > MEMO or COMMENT
- ESC-KEY to EXIT HELP
- Remember, that DOS allows you to name any
- file with up to ( 8 ) Charaters. You do not
- need to use all 8 characters.

- This field is for the file size.
- This will usually be smaller than 360,
- however, with the advent of new programs as
- well as WINDOWING style programs you may on
- a rare happening find a larger file.

- Files usually have a file extension.
- The file extension is generally assigned by
- a program. Example: WK1, WKS, DAT, DBF, BAT
- and so on.
- Some files however may not have or need a
- file extension. These are quite frequently
- ASCII or Text files. ESC-KEY to EXIT HELP
- If you press ENTER now, this record will be
- ERASED permanantly from the computer.

- You are not required to make comments about
- every file you have however, we did include
- a scrolling table that allows you to search
- by these comments.

- This is your MAIN-MENU
- To start a specific function you have (2) choices.
- A. Type the number, then press Enter-Key
- B. Arrow-Key to your choice and press Enter
- In addition to MENU choices 1-6 you also have ( 4 )
- other choices. These are activated by pressing your
- corresponding FUNCTION-KEY.

- This TABLE displays the DISK-LABEL (Upper L/H corner)
- as well as all the files on this specific disk. The files
- are in the center scrolling portion. You navigate a table
- using your
- and
- keys.

- DELETE a file = DEL-KEY
- ( Highlite it first )
- MODIFY a file = ENTER-KEY ( Highlite it first )
- Go Back 1 step = ESC-KEY * also to EXIT HELP *
- We have included ( 7 ) different TABLES that you can use to locate specific
- information in / on or about any file or disk you are tracking.
- These tables are for DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY and will not allow you to add or
- modify existing information.

- We hope you find these LOOKUP-TABLES to be helpful.
- This is another TABLE. You will use this one to select a
- specific "DISK" to work with. To make your selection you
- can ARROW
- and press the Enter-Key to make your
- choice. This will cause the computer to display all files
- for this specific diskette.
- ESC-KEY - EXIT HELP
- This little window displays the DISK/Label that you are
- currently working with. Press ENTER-KEY to accept and the
- computer will INSERT this information for you saving you
- keystrokes.
- You can, if you wish, ADD files at this point to another
- disk by simply pressing your INS-KEY and entering a NEW
- diskette label(Name) or using your
- Keys highlite
- another disk already in the system and press ENTER-KEY.
- Remember; Help is abundantly available in your program

- file was created.
