  3.    1. If you are on a Novell network and wish to run NCSEVAL:
  4.  
  5.           a. Create a user with SYSCON called DEMO-AT or DEMO-PS2.
  6.  
  7.           b. Login in as this user on the PC with COM  port.  No  other
  8.              user should log in with that user name.
  9.  
  10.           c. Go to the diretory where the NCS files were installed  and
  11.              type: NCSEVAL.
  12.  
  13.  
  14.        ■ The workstation will then become  your  NCS Comm  Server.  The 
  15.          configuration of the server are in a file called: NCSSERV.NSC.
  16.          This file can be examined by  running  the  NCS  Configuration
  17.          Editor called:  NCSEDIT.EXE.

  19.        ■ If you run NCSEDIT you'll notice that DEMO-AT and DEMO-PS2  have
  20.          been defined as having one active port only; COM1,  with  Device
  21.          Class of PT1 for PORT-1.

  24.    2. If you are on a NetBIOS network and wish to run NCSEVAL:
  25.  
  26.           a. Go to the directory where the NCS files were installed  and
  27.              type: NCSEVAL DEMO-AT or DEMO-PS2 to activate the NCS.
  28.  
  29.        ■ The workstation will then become your NCS Comm Server whose name
  30.          is DEMO-AT or DEMO-PS2.

  33.    3. Several easy to use batch files have been included on the NCS
  34.       disk. These files will facilitate runnin and using the NCS 
  35.       solution. Please feel free to modify these files to fit your
  36.       system.

  38.       These files automatically load and run all workstation  NCS
  39.       software necessary to establish a connection with the NCS server.

  48.               DTNCA.BAT: For use with J&L's Network Communication
  49.                          Adapter (NCA card) which uses unmodified,
  50.                          non-INT 14 or 6B software.
