  1. UNIXDOS SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT
  2. ---------------------------------------------------------------
  3. LICENSE:
  4. You may:
  5. 1. Use the UNIXDOS programs on a single computer for up to 30 days without a license.
  6. 2. Use the UNIXDOS programs on a single computer beyond the 30 day trial period if you have 
  7.     purchased a UnixDos license.
  8. 3. Install the UnixDos License on ONE machine per UnixDos License using the
  9.     UdMgmt.exe.utility.
  10. 4. Copy the program into any machine readable or printable form for backup in support of the
  11.     program on the single machine.
  12. 5. Modify the program and/or merge it into another program for your use on the single machine.
  13.    Any part of the licensed program merged into another program will continue to be subject to
  14.    the terms of  this agreement.
  15. 6. Freely distribute the UNIXDOS programs to any other machine but not run the
  16.     installation utility (UdMgmt.exe) which will allow the UNIXDOS software to run beyond
  17.     the trial period of 30 days.
  18. 7. Move the software and license to another machine using the UdMgmt.exe.utility with the
  19.     Uninstall option.
  20. 8. request for a new registration key in the rare event of a hard disk failure before you could
  21.     run the UdMgmt.exe.uninstall procedure.
  22.  
  23. You may NOT:
  24. 1. Run the installation process on any other machine than the single computer after you installed
  25.     the UNIXDOS software unless you purchased another License for that machine.
  26. 2. Run the UNIXDOS software on more than your single computer beyond the 30 day trial period.
  27. 3. use, copy, or modify the program or any copy, modification or merged portion, in whole or in
  28.     part, except as expressly provided for this license.
  29.  
  30. If you transfer possession of any copy, modification, or merged portion of the program not
  31. permitted by this license to another party, your license is automatically terminated.
  32.  
  33. TERM:
  34. This license is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by destroying the
  35. program together with all the copies, modifications, and merged portions in any form.
  36. It will also terminate if you fail to comply with any term or condition of this agreement.
  37. You agree upon such termination to destroy the program together with all copies,
  38. modifications and merged portions in any form.
  39.  
  40. LIMITED WARRANTY:
  41. This program is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied,
  42. including, but not limited to the implied warranties or merchantability and fitness for a
  43. particular purpose.
  44. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the program iswith you.
  45. Should the program prove defective, you assume the entire cost of all necessary
  46. servicing, repair and correction.

  48. UnixDos is delivered via download from it's  Internet site:
  49. http://www.ProfSoftware.com.
  50.  
  51. Professional Software Solutions does not warrant that the functions contained in the program
  52. will meet your requirements or that the operation of the program will be uninterrupted or
  53. error free. Professional Software Solutions will provide support via email and release
  54. updates of the software at its own discretion for free or an upgrade fee, but is under no
  55. obligation to respond to support requests or provide updates.
  56.  
  57. However, Professional Software Solutions warrants the diskettes on which the program is
  58. furnished to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a
  59. period of thirty(30) days from the date of the purchase. If during this 30 days period the
  60. diskettes should become defective and unusable, return them to Professional Software
  61. Solutions for a no-charge replacement.

  63. ACKNOWLEDGMENT:
  64. You acknowledge that you have read this agreement, understand it and agree to be bound
  65. by its terms and conditions. You further agree that it is the complete and exclusive 
  66. statement of the agreement between us.
  67.  
  68. REFUNDS:
  69. UnixDos can be tested and used without any limitation or reduction in functionality for
  70. a period of 30 days before the purchase.
  71. We therefore are NOT issuing any refunds for the purchase of UnixDos.
  72.  
  73. NOTE:
  74. The original diskettes in recognizable form may be required in order to receive repair
  75. or update releases of this software product.
  76.  
  77. DISCLAIMER:
  78. Burkhard Eichberger and Professional Software Solutions have taken due care in
  79. preparing this manual and the programs and data on the electronic disk media
  80. (if any) accompanying this package including research, development, and testing
  81. to ascertain their effectiveness.
  82. Professional Software Solutions makes no warranties sas to the contents of this package
  83. and specifically disclaims and implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for any
  84. particular purpose. Professional Software Solutions further reserves the right to make
  85. changes to the specifications of the program and the contents of the package without
  86. obligation to notify any person or organization of such changes.
