  1. INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE CHEAT CODES IN DOOM/DOOM2 NETWORK GAMES!!!

  4.         Are you STILL pissed off at ID Software for not letting you use cheat
  5. codes in Doom network games?  Well be pissed off no futher for I have solved
  6. that problem with my staff of War Machine and myself in the Action Games Forum
  7. on CompuServe!  See, I have tested with War Machine a plan that will not fail
  8. for you to cheat all you like in Cooperative mode or DeathMatch!  Just follow
  9. these instructions below!

  11.         ** 1 ** Start off a new game of DeathMatch or Cooperative play (you
  12.                 can play all you want).
  13.  
  14.         ** 2 ** Now, save your game...
  15.  
  16.         ** 3 ** Then after you've finished your game (you've quit or have
  17.                 beaten the level or something but as long as you're not
  18.                 playing a network game anylonger) go back into Doom and load
  19.                 your network game.
  20.  
  21.         ** 4 ** Now, enter your cheat keys and save the game again.  Note: If
  22.                 you want to change levels you must go to the exit manually or
  23.                 your friend(s) will not come with you if you use the IDCLEV
  24.                 cheat code.  Another note:  It is not recommended that you use
  25.                 the No-Clipping code because then you won't be able to turn it
  26.                 off when playing your network game later and you won't be able
  27.                 to pick up anymore ammo.

  29.         ** 5 ** Save the game again...

  31.         ** 6 ** Give the savegame file to your friend(s) (the file will have
  32.                 an .DSG extention on it).
  33.  
  34.         ** 7 ** Now restore the savegame with your friend(s) and you'll have 
  35.                 all of the cheat keys you plugged in to Doom!  Note: Only the
  36.                 GREEN player will have the cheat keys availible! :(

  38.         Now aren't you happy?!  Have fun getting frags or not getting killed
