  1.   The Trachodon is a very common
  2. North American herbivore from the
  3. Cretaceous period.
  4.   This duckbill had three webbed,
  5. hooved toes on its hind feet and its
  6. hands had three hooved and one plain
  7. finger. Fossilized imprints of
  8. Trachodons indicate that their skin
  9. was covered with small scales.
  10.   Trachodon grew to a length of
  11. thirty feet and stood eighteen feet
  12. tall.
  13.   Related duckbills have been found
  14. in Europe and Asia.^
