SCREEN PEEKER CDA

Peek at any type of graphics screen at any time with this wonderful classic desk accessory.
HOW DO I USE IT?
You may install the desk accessory by choosing ╥File Copier╙ from the File menu (or pressing Open-Apple F). It will be installed on your system disk.
Now, when you next boot up that system disk, you can type Open-Apple╤Control╤ESC to get to the Classic Desk Accessory menu, then choose ╥Screen Peeker╙ from the menu.
Now simply use the arrow keys to move up and down the list, and press RETURN when the desired graphics mode is highlighted. The screen will appear. Press a key when you are done looking at it.
ESC will move you to the QUIT menu item.
Screen Peeker will also work if you enter 8-bit! You must have booted with GS/OS (unless you have some special installer program for 8-bit). Open-Apple╤Control╤ESC will let you look at any screen! If the program doesn╒t disable this keypress sequence, you╒ll be able to study a screen from any graphics-based program very easily!
OF WHAT POSSIBLE USE IS THIS THING?
Some examples of Screen Peeker╒s uses:
Ñ freeze screen so you can:
Ñ take a picture of it (for newsletter, friend who wants program,
Softdisk G╨S featured programs)
Ñ study it for a while (like a game screen, hee hee)
Ñ discuss it (in front of users group, or friends)
Ñ programmers may check each screen in middle of a program to see that it
is functioning correctly (very important!)
Ñ curious folks may see what a program is doing during its operation
(many games use both hi-res screens, in various ways)
You may note that double hi-res and super hi-res share some of the same memory.
PROGRAMMERS!
Also included on the disk is the source to Screen Peeker. To assemble it, load it into Merlin 16 and press Open╨Apple 6. Study of the code will help you make your own Classic Desk Accessories.
