Calculator 128 is not like most calculators that you're accustommed to using; rather, it works like a sophicated adding machine. While many first-time users may take some time to become used to using Calculator 128, anyone used to working with an adding machine will be right at home with Calculator 128.
Because Calculator 128 is designed for business office applications, the default mode for working with values is the dollars and cents mode. This process automatically makes the first two digits you enter the first two decimal places. Multiple help screens are available throughout the program by pressing the V key.
Here's how to get started using Calculator 128: Key in a number, then enter a plus sign (+). You'll see the number at the top of the screen, then at the right hand corner. Enter a second number, then press Return. The first and second numbers that you entered will be totalled on the right hand side of the screen.
Subtraction works in an identical manner. Enter a number, the minus sign (-), followed by the second number, then press Return. Calculator also calculates the square root of the value in the acccumulator at any time by pressing Q.
You'll find that with a little practice, Calculator 128 can quickly become your most often-used computer calculator.
