  7. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  9. 486 or higher
  10. 8MB RAM
  11. MS Windows 3.1 or Windows 95
  12. CD-ROM drive (double speed recommended)
  13. MPC compatible sound card (Sound Blaster)
  14. Mouse and Keyboard
  15.  
  16. Running the Demo
  17. ================
  18. 1. Insert the Vote America Demo CD-ROM in your drive
  19.  
  20. 2. Select Run from the File Menu in Program Manager (Win 3.1) 
  21.    or the Start Menu (Win 95)
  22.  
  23. 3. Type the following in the "command line" area of the "Run" dialog box:
  24.  
  25.    D:\votedemo
  26.  
  27.    (If neccessary substitute the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive for D.)
  28.  
  29. 4. Click on the "OK" button.
  30.  
  31. ** NOTE: This demo requires that QuickTime(tm) be installed on your system.
  32.    If QuickTime(tm) is not already you should install it by doing the following:
  33.  
  34. 1. Select Run from the File Menu in Program Manager (Win 3.1) 
  35.    or the Start Menu (Win 95)
  36. 2. Type the following in the "command line" area of the "Run" dialog box:

  38.     D:\QT\SETUP
  39.  
  40.    (If neccessary substitute the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive for D.)
  41.  
  42. 3. Click on the "OK" button.  This will launch the Quicktime2.0 installation
  43. program.

  45. Troubleshooting
  46. ===============
  47. If you experience strange lockups or crashes while running this demo:
  48.  
  49. Quit any other application that may be in the background.
  50.  
  51. Turn off your screen saver.
  52.  
  53. Make sure your video display is set to 640x480 with 256 colors
  54.  
  55. Make sure you are using the lastest drivers for your video and sound cards
  56.
