  1. If you have a sound card, and the music for MVP Word Search for Windows does
  2. not play, your MIDI configuration may not be set up correctly.  Follow the
  3. directions below to set it up.

  5. From the Main group, double click on the MIDI Mapper icon.  Check the
  6. information in the section "name."  It should say something to the effect
  7. of Extended FM, or EXT FM, etc.  If it does not, click on the down arrow and
  8. look for something to that effect.  Select the appropriate Name, and click
  9. on the edit button.  Channels 1-9 should be enabled with the Port set as
  10. OPL-3 driver, Voyetra OPL-3, or SuperSapi drivers.

  12. IMPORTANT:  Channel 10 must be configured as follows:
  13. SrcChannel: 10
  14. DestChannel: 16
  15. Port: Same as the other channels
  16. If this is not done, the DRUMS will not play correctly.  Click on the OK
  17. button (if it asks if you wish to save, say Yes), and close the MIDI Mapper.
  18. The music should play correctly now.
