- So...If you're reading this...we didn't do a very good job at teaching you
- all you needed to know to enjoy the game. It's difficult knowing what to
- tell you and what to let you figure out for yourself. The purpose of this
- topic is to help you get your bearings in the game when all else fails.
- We will attempt to do this by making several statements concerning the
- game. Some of the statements may seem obvious to you immediately
- while other statements will only seem obvious later because of 20-20
- hindsight. Some of the statements will tell you to go find information
- elsewhere. The rest of the statements will be pointing out observations
- that you could make yourself...but you may be overlooking.
-
- We recommend that these statements be read a page at a time or until
- you no longer feel lost. You can always return later. Click Next Page
- to continue your journey.

- There are 4 cursor/pointer types. The GAME cursor which is "The Little
- White Guy With ~c1~RED~c15~ Eyes" is active on the worm board. The ARROW
- cursor is active on all control objects (all the BUTTONS). The HAND
- cursor is used on all the GAPWAR puzzles. Lastly there is the EMPTY
- cursor whenever you are not on an object.
-
- Before reading any further in "I'm Lost", we suggest that you read the
- "Overview", "WORM", "GAPWAR" and "QUANTUM" help.

- In WORM puzzles, the next piece to be placed is located in the NEXT
- TILE box. The ~c6~GREY~c15~ bricks that disappear after the first click tell
- you which pattern to use.
-
- There are many basic patterns in the WORM puzzles. Three are very
- important patterns: AROUND THE WORLD(A-0), CLOVER LEAF(C-0),
- and BRAIDED-X(D-0). They are used repeatedly in the lower games.
- When all else fails, try one of these patterns to see if it helps.
