  1. This is a BETA version of QuikBook.  It is made available to anyone who
  2. wants to use it because I feel that your comments will make the actual
  3. release a much better program.

  5. The program has been tested, but there is always the possibility that
  6. some bugs slipped through.  Especially in a Beta version.

  9. Upgrading from version .95:

  11. READ THE DOCUMENTATION!  It has been expanded and improved.

  13. Run the program QB-UPD before running QBOOK.  It will do
  14. some renaming.
  15.  
  16. You should look through the configuration options, there have been a
  17. number of additions.
  18.  
  19. If you were using DOS commands in version .95 instead of archive
  20. programs, you should copy all of your recipe files into a single
  21. directory and define it as your WORK directory.  You should also make
  22. all archive commands in the configuration blank.  If you were using
  23. archive commands, no changes are necessary.

  25. Version .95 had a few bugs in the indexing functions.  The RELINK option
  26. on the configuration menu should fix things for you if you have problems
  27. searching.  It replaces the program FIX-QB.
