  2. This multi-system software is designed to allow the tracking of several
  3. important database functions for the traveling motorhome.  Each system
  4. performs in an identical fashion so learning the Full system becomes quite
  5. an easy task.

  7. All of the systems are designed to store (display and sort) data similar
  8. to most all database software.  The important difference with the
  9. Shelter Island Press System is that it has been designed specifically for
  10. quick learning and ease of day-to-day operation.  Let's look at each one
  11. seperately...

  13. FOOD INDEX
  14.  
  15.     The Food Index is simply an alphabetized list of ALL the food items
  16. stored on the motorhome.  This index is used to keep a running inventory
  17. of foods aboard the motorhome along with the storage location for the
  18. foods.  Utilizing this index you should be able to quickly generate
  19. shopping lists for replenishing stocks and should be able to quickly FIND
  20. an item that would otherwise be 'lost'.

  22. MEAL INDEX
  23.  
  24.     The Meal Index is an alphabetized list of all the possible meals for
  25. which you choose to plan.  This index is used to organize for extended
  26. trips.  By assembling a number of complete meals and then purchasing
  27. provisions for SEVERAL OF EACH TYPE you can adequately cost-out and
  28. thoroughly plan for extended periods.

  30. CAMPSITES INDEX

  32.     The Campsites index allows you to thoroughly plan for stops along your
  33. intended route and gives you the added feature of keeping notes on each
  34. campsite you visit.  In this manner you can accurately remember which
  35. sites were best and which were to be avoided!

  37. TRIP PLANNING
  38.  
  39.     The Trip Planning index is probably the most 'fun' index to use. It
  40. allows you to thoroughly plan a short trip or an extended tour.  Ample
  41. room is provided for you to log in every leg of your trip along with
  42. pertinent details for each leg.  Time frames can be quickly analyzed and
  43. modified so your schedule remains realistic.

  45. SUPPLIES INDEX

  47.     The Supplies Index is simply an alphabetized list of ALL the supplies
  48. kept on the motorhome.  This index is used to keep a running inventory of
  49. supplies aboard the motorhome along with the storage location for each
  50. item.  Utilizing this index you should be able to quickly generate
  51. shopping lists for replenishing stocks and should be able to quickly FIND
  52. an item that would otherwise be 'lost'.

  54. SPARE PART INDEX

  56.     Similarly the Spare part Index is simply an alphabetized list of ALL
  57. the spare parts kept on the motorhome.  This index is used to keep a
  58. running inventory of spare parts aboard the motorhome along with the
  59. storage location for each item.  Utilizing this index you should be able
  60. to quickly generate shopping lists for replenishing stocks and should be
  61. able to quickly FIND an item that would otherwise be 'lost'.

  63. REPAIRS & PROJECTS

  65.     This idex allows you to thoroughly plan and prioritize all your
  66. repairs and projects.  This module also allows you to list and "check-off"
  67. all the necessary parts and supplies to accomplish the project.

  69. MAINTENANCE TICKLER
  70.  
  71.     This module acts as a reminder for all the maintenance you need to
  72. schedule.  The index quickly displays all maintenance items you have
  73. listed and allows you to search for particular dates too (e.g. all
  74. maintenance due by the end of a particular month!).

  76. EQUIPMENT LOG
  77.  
  78.     The Equipment log is simply a list of all the equipment you have on
  79. the motorhome.  Provision is made for you to enter all the necessary
  80. information on each piece of equipment (along with a repair history).

  84.    Each of these modules allow you to monitor a vital area of your
  85. motorhome. You will find additional information in the Shelter Island
  86. Press manual and in the Help screens of each module.
