  9. Online Help System (ToolBox Button):
  10. -----------------------------------
  11. Clicking the "HELP" button will call up a help window
  12. containing a trimmed down version of the Manual. Topics
  13. are in Alpha order.
  14. NOTE: Pressing the "Help" key will also open the Help
  15.       window.

  17. Suscription Tracker Button (ToolBox Button):
  18. -------------------------------------------
  19. Opens the Subscription Tracker window. This is a simple
  20. editor to enter the starting and ending dates for your
  21. Subscriptions, as well as the number of issues you've
  22. ordered (i.e. 12,24 etc.).

  25. "NOTE" Button and "Note" Field:
  26. ------------------------------
  27. You can now have a note attached to each (or any) entry.
  28. If the "Note" button is OFF, this field will be bypassed.
  29. If the Note button is ON the the cursor will be placed
  30. into the Note field. Type your note into the field and
  31. press [Return]. A note may also be attached to old entry
  32. simply by clicking that entry in the List window, typing
  33. your note in the Note field and pressing [Return].

  37. UnDo Delete (Menu Option):
  38. -------------------------
  39. Added an "UnDo Delete" in the Edit menu. If you delete
  40. an entry by accident - selecting this will recover it
  41. for you.

  44. Editing Current Records:
  45. -----------------------
  46. Editing or changing current records is easy. Just click
  47. on the item to change in this List window. Click in the
  48. field you wish to edit. Make your change and press [Return]
  49. in the LAST field (i.e. Article, Review, Other, OR if the
  50. Note button is ON - press [Return] in that field.)

  52. For example: If I wanted to edit the page number, I would
  53. click in that field, make the correction and press [Return].
  54. The cursor moves to the Article, Review or Other field
  55. (depending on the List window you clicked on), I press
  56. [Return] again. If the Note button was OFF I'm done.
  57. If the Note button was ON then the cursor is moved to the
  58. Note field, and I need to press [Return] once more.

  61. Preferences Update:
  62. ------------------
  63. Preferences will now immediately update SubStore's main
  64. window upon closing (if saved) the Prefs window (i.e. The
  65. "Always Start With" Subscription title and "Repeat On/Off"
  66. toggle options). This does not apply to the "At Startup"
  67. Load option. The "Preferences Re-Load" menu option will
  68. no longer be needed.

  70. Preferences now has a user defined option for the Note
  71. button default. Like the "Repeat On/Off" default, you can
  72. also now specify the default for the "Note On/Off" option.
  73. If the button is ON and Prefs is saved that way, then
  74. the cursor will be placed in the Note field after every
  75. entry. You can leave this Note field blank also and not
  76. attach a note just by just pressing [Return] in it.
  77. (You may not WANT to enter a note for everything.)

  80. Printing:
  81. --------
  82. Printing Single records now includes any notes that may
  83. be attached to your records. Unfortunately, the Print
  84. "Entire List" WITH notes didn't make it to this release.
  85. Sorry, I haven't had any time to work on it. out However,
  86. I DID manage to patch that option into the "Queue" window.
  87. So, you CAN have multiple records printed WITH notes via
  88. the "Queue" option. The next release will have more
  89. extensive Print options.

  92. Bug Fixes:
  93. ---------
  94. When the Repeat button was ON, clicking one of the "Add"
  95. buttons would skip the "Date/Vol" field (even if it was
  96. empty) and go right to the "Page" field. This has been fixed.

  98. Completely re-wrote all the field routines.
