  15. This is a import module that will import PCX (PC PaintBrush files) into 
  16. PageStream. PCX files come in three flavors: gray scale, 16 color palette, 
  17. and 256 color palette. The module will bring them all in.
  18.  
  19. With version 2.0 of the OS the "version" command has gained some new talents.
  20. Whereas it used to only work on libraries, it now works on any file. It will
  21. look for a "version string" inside a file and print it out to the CLI if it
  22. finds it.  A "version string" has been added to many of the new import modules.
  23. This makes it very easy to find out what version of the import module you have.
  24. From a CLI just type "version <module name>" and press return. You no longer
  25. have to load up PageStream and look at the import requester for the version
  26. number.

  28. As with all the modules, if you come across some pictures that will not load
  29. or crash when importing, please upload them to our BBS or mail them to us on
  30. a floppy disk with an explaination of the problem. We will try them and fix
  31. the import module if appropriate.
