  1. MightyMouse - Version 1.06

  3. Who reads documentation?  Not me, or at least not unless I have problems.
  4. If you're like that, then you'll like MightyMouse.  The documentation is
  5. build into the configuration program (MightyConfig) as online help.
  6.  
  7. To Install MightyMouse:
  8.  
  9.    1.  Copy MightyMouse & MightyConfig to your boot disk's  C: directory.
  10.        They can be in any directory.   C: is probably the easiest to use.
  11.        Copy MightyConfig.info  into the same  directory as  MightyConfig,
  12.        if you want an ICON to activate from.
  13.  
  14.    2.  Modify your StartUp-Sequence to execute MightyMouse.  MightyMouse
  15.        will run and detach itself from your  CLI so that it may continue.
  16.  
  17.    3.  Modify your S:Shell-StartUp and/or S:CLI-StartUp procs.   Add all
  18.        of your Paths defined  in your  StartUp-Sequeunce  to this  proc.
  19.        MightyMouse  is a  process not a CLI Task.  Any CLI or Shell that
  20.        is created by MightyMouse  will only  receive  the default Paths,
  21.        unless these changes are made.

  23.    4.  ReBoot your System.  This activates MightyMouse.
  24.  
  25.    5.  Run MightyConfig.  Read the online help/documentation.

  28. Planned Improvements:
  29.  
  30. We're planning on improvements and additions.  The following are being
  31. considered at this time:
  32.  
  33.    1.  Snap like functionality.  I want a single Mouse program in the
  34.        system, not three or more input handlers all chained together.
  35.        The problem is just how much larger can the handler (MightyMouse)
  36.        grow and still be useful to A500 single disk owners?
  37.  
  38.    2.  Recording & Playback of a set of input events.  This includes
  39.        mouse and keyboard input.
  40.  
  41.    3.  Rewrite the actual Input Handler part of MightyMouse in Assembler
  42.        to improve effiency and reduce size.

  45. Modification History:

  47. V1.00 - V1.04   internal pre-release versions.
  48.  
  49. V1.05           first release of MightyMouse.
  50.  
  51. V1.06         The following bugs were fixed:
  52.               - Mouse Pointer under certain conditions would disappear
  53.                 or display the wrong pointer.  These problems are fixed.
  54.  
  55.               - MightyMouse would try to activate a window while a WBench
  56.                 user was dragging an ICON into it.  This would cause the
  57.                 ICON to return to its orginial window. This has been fixed.
  58.  
  59.               - The checking on the compatiability of the Configuration
  60.                 file wasn't always working.  It is now. V1.05 configuration
  61.                 files will not work on version 1.06. Delete and rebuild it.
  62.  
  63.               The following improvements were made:
  64.               - MightyMouse was changed to not output to the CLI window.
  65.                 All errors cause a system requestor to appear. This allows
  66.                 MightyMouse to be started by an ICON and from the WBench
  67.                 startup of ADos 2.0.
