- The enclosed cheezy utility will read a compressed Adobe Font file and
- unpack it. It does NOT decrypt the file, it just puts it into a format
- that can then be sent to a printer that can read Adobe Encrypted fonts.
-
- The result of this is that the "rest of us" (i.e. those who do not use
- MACS or IBM PCs can have access to Adobe's wonderful font library.
-
- To use it, just:
- conv input_file output_file
-
- then you can print output_file to your printer.
-
- You will still need to get the Adobe Font File onto your computer. For
- Amiga users, I reccomend using Cross-Dos or some simmilar program to read
- the font onto your machine.
-
- If you run into problems with this simple program, I would first suggest
- you look at the source. It's rather a simple minded program, but it is
- possible that I messed something up in porting it from the Prime system that
- I wrote it on originally. Failing that I can be contacted on Bix as
- "mzellers" or via UUCP at "decwrl.dec.com!batgirl!mark".
