  1. After extracting this archive, you'll need to have the following files
  2. present:

  4. c:run
  5. devs:serial.device
  6. l:Disk-Validator
  7. libs:icon.library
  8. libs:info.library
  9. libs:version.library
  10.  
  11. These are minimum files required from your workbench disk which are
  12. necessary to run this BBS.  You don't need to have Arexx, ARP, or any
  13. other libraries to run the Elite BBS.  You still have a powerful
  14. Bulletin Board System which runs at 19200 with Zmodem transfers and
  15. a fine message and email system.

  17. If you want to set up and run the BBS quickly, you should do the following:

  19. 1) cd to the root directory of your hard drive or floppy disk.
  20.  
  21. 2) ensure the files listed above are in the correct directories.
  22.  
  23. 3) extract the archive: lharc x EliteBBS.lzh
  24.    answer Y to create the necessary directories
  25.  
  26. 4) run Elite_BBS
