- SCRUB
-
- This is a little program to help you clean your disk drives. Stick a disk
- cleaner in a drive, wait till it settles down, and then run Scrub. It will
- find which drive has the cleaner in it (it looks for any non-DOS disk, first
- in DF0:, then DF1:, DF2:, and DF3:) and spin it for thirty seconds, moving
- the heads back and forth to different cylinders. Run it from Workbench
- (double click the scrub brush icon) or from CLI. In the latter case, you may
- prefer to say "run scrub" instead of just "scrub", so you can use the CLI for
- something else while it's running. It won't produce any messages unless it
- can't find a disk to clean or there's no memory. It shouldn't do any harm if
- it happens to hit a real disk (perhaps an ms-dos disk being used by CrossDOS
- or something), just pop the disk out if that happens. It's pure.
