  5.   Thsi directory contains three utility programs:
  6.  
  7.     Head - display the first lines of a file
  8.  
  9.     Du - display bytes/blocks used by a directory and all its
  10.         sub-directories
  11.  
  12.     Cookie - print a wise (?) adage
  13.  
  14.   All the utilities in this draw were written to be as small as possible.
  15. Hence they offer little in the way of frills. However they do work and the
  16. executables are very small (All occupy less than one disk block!)
  17.  
  18.   NB: All three icons were primarily designed for use via the CLI or Shell.
  19. However they can be run via the workbench by using the IconX command (which
  20. must be in you c: directory). For all programs, click on the iconx script
  21. (eg du.iconx), then double click on the data file or directory (eg README).
  22. When using multiple selection be careful that the original directory icon
  23. is not selected.

  25.   All programs require Arp.library version 39.0+ (ie that supplied with
  26. release 1.3 or above). If not present then the programs will exit cleanly
  27. but not all of them display an error message. If the program appears to do
  28. nothing then check that you have arp.library version 39.0+ in your libs
  29. directory.

  31.   Double click on 'install-arp.iconx' icon to copy arp.library to your
  32. libs: directory.
