  1.                       SYS2DRT Readme File

  3. This program was written after I got Dr.T's Editor for my K1 and realized
  4. that all the patches I was finding were in SYSEX fromat.
  5.  
  6. Basically the program chops the SYSEX information from each of the files
  7. and joins the actual patch data into one big file.
  8.  
  9. To use rename the SYSEX file containing the :
  10.  
  11.             I bank to   bankname-i.k1
  12.             i bank to   bankname-li.k1
  13.         Multi bank to   bankname-mlt.k1
  14.  
  15. (you may use any name for bankname, like A200 etc.)
  16.  
  17. Then type "sys2drt bank" and you'll have bankname.k1v suitable for use with
  18. the Dr.T editor.  If you don't have all the banks,  just use and old one
  19. to fill the place otherwise the multi patches might be used as single
  20. patches and really screw things up.
