- Version1.1
- This version allows the user to enter an alarm message,
- which will be displayed when the alarm sounds. If no
- message is entered, then the default message "No Message
- Specified At This Time" will be displayed during alarm
- function. The capability to display messages becomes
- particularly useful when running multiple copies of this
- program simultaneously. Each clock can then be set to
- alarm at a different time and display a different message!
- The major limiting factor to how many copies of the program
- can be run is the amount of RAM in your system.
-
- Using the alarm clock
- The alarm clock works only in military time. Click on
- the gadget "Set Alarm" then click in the field requester
- with the left mouse button, and enter an alarm time from
- 0000 to 2359. Enter the number without spaces or colons
- and press return. The number entered must include all
- trailing zeros (for example four o'clock must be entered
- as 400 - NOT 4:00 or 4). The alarm time will be compared
- to the current time set on the clock - which is just the
- system time from your computer. Make sure your system time
- is accurate (it can be set from preferences in workbench).
- The alarm will continue to ring until you have had enuf
- and select the "Kill Alarm" gadget. The volume of the alarm
- can be tested at any time by clicking on the "Vol Test"
- icon with the left mouse button. To change the alarm message
- from the default, click in the "Message" gadget with the left
- mouse button, and enter your message in the message input
- field by clicking on the field with the left mouse button.
- Press return after you have entered your message, and you will
- be returned to the main control panel.
-
- Please keep this doc file together in the same archive
- with the program and it's icon, when distributing it.
