  7.      See CB_v1.1_update.doc file for detailed information regarding the new
  8. features in version 1.1 of Citation_Base.  Briefly, the previous macros
  9. have been cleaned up to make them run a little faster (I don't pretend to
  10. be a hard core programmer...)  New macros enable the user to import
  11. citations from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's bibliographic database
  12. "AGRICOLA" and from the Institue for Scientific Information's Current
  13. Contents bibliographic database and several other database formats.
  14.      To make full use of this package you will need the following support
  15. software:  William Hawes' AREXX (commercial software), ARP 1.3 (public
  16. domain AmigaDOS Resource Project), Pete Goodeve's public domain utility
  17. XICON, WordPerfect Corporation's WordPerfect word processor (or a Rich 
  18. Text Format-compatible word processor), a text editor (e.g. Darren M. 
  19. Greenwald's excellent QED), and Software Visions' database program: 
  20. MicroFiche Filer Plus.  Please note that not all of the above software
  21. is necessary to make this package work for you.  Please see the docs for
  22. more explicit details.

  28.      Citation_Base is a collection of ARexx macros and support files
  29. designed to automate the creation and maintenance of bibliographic
  30. citation databases for use in professional or technical writing.
  31. Two versions of the macros are included:  one set works with
  32. Software Visions' MicroFiche Filer Plus and the second set works
  33. with stand alone text files.  Both sets of macros include the 
  34. ability to rearrange/reformat the stock (standard) citations into
  35. virtually any journal bibliographic format.  Instructions are 
  36. included to guide the user in creating bibliographic templates 
  37. for journals not already included in the Citation_Base package.

  39.      This is being distributed as ShareWare.  If you find the
  40. Citation_Base package useful, please send $10.  Your response
  41. will insure the release of upgraded versions of Citation_Base
  42. for the Amiga!  All registered users will receive the next 
  43. available upgrade automatically, including many more journal
  44. templates.  Should you redistribute the Citation_Base package,
  45. please keep all of the ARexx macros and support files together.
