- Citation_Base Copyright 1989, 1990 by Michael J. Arrowood
-
- Release 1.1 September 15, 1990 Notes:
-
- See CB_v1.1_update.doc file for detailed information regarding the new
- features in version 1.1 of Citation_Base. Briefly, the previous macros
- have been cleaned up to make them run a little faster (I don't pretend to
- be a hard core programmer...) New macros enable the user to import
- citations from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's bibliographic database
- "AGRICOLA" and from the Institue for Scientific Information's Current
- Contents bibliographic database and several other database formats.
- To make full use of this package you will need the following support
- software: William Hawes' AREXX (commercial software), ARP 1.3 (public
- domain AmigaDOS Resource Project), Pete Goodeve's public domain utility
- XICON, WordPerfect Corporation's WordPerfect word processor (or a Rich
- Text Format-compatible word processor), a text editor (e.g. Darren M.
- Greenwald's excellent QED), and Software Visions' database program:
- MicroFiche Filer Plus. Please note that not all of the above software
- is necessary to make this package work for you. Please see the docs for
- more explicit details.
-
- Release 1.0 September 22, 1989 Notes:
-
- Original release...
-
- Citation_Base is a collection of ARexx macros and support files
- designed to automate the creation and maintenance of bibliographic
- citation databases for use in professional or technical writing.
- Two versions of the macros are included: one set works with
- Software Visions' MicroFiche Filer Plus and the second set works
- with stand alone text files. Both sets of macros include the
- ability to rearrange/reformat the stock (standard) citations into
- virtually any journal bibliographic format. Instructions are
- included to guide the user in creating bibliographic templates
- for journals not already included in the Citation_Base package.
-
- This is being distributed as ShareWare. If you find the
- Citation_Base package useful, please send $10. Your response
- will insure the release of upgraded versions of Citation_Base
- for the Amiga! All registered users will receive the next
- available upgrade automatically, including many more journal
- templates. Should you redistribute the Citation_Base package,
- please keep all of the ARexx macros and support files together.
- Thanks.
