- SETTING UP
- =============
-
- Format a disk and name it MKS-1
- Make a directory on that disk called MUSIC
- copy the following files to MKS-1:
-
- MidiPlay
- MidiPlay.info
- Disk.info
- LinerNotes
- PlayList
-
- copy the following files to MKS-1:MUSIC/
-
- Magnetic_Rag
- Elite_Syncopations
- Pineapple_Rag
- Wall_St._Rag
-
- copy "playmf" to the c directory on your system disk or hard drive
- copy "mdrt.library" to the libs directory on your system disk or hard drive
- you must also have ARP.library version 1.3 or later in your libs directory.
-
- The file called LinerNotes is the documentation for MidiPlay. You may view
- it as a regular text file, or by clicking on the "NOTES" gadget on the main
- screen of MidiPlay. It is highly recommended that you NOT fool with anything
- else with MidiPlay until you have read the docs. It is fairly painless and
- simple.
-
- After you have finished reading the LinerNotes you may then edit it to
- include notes on your music files.
-
- ====================
- IMPORTANT
- ===================
-
- MidiPlay 1.0 does not support MIDI file names longer than 18 characters
- Version 2.0 will not have this limitation.
