  5. Format a disk and name it MKS-1
  6. Make a directory on that disk called MUSIC
  7. copy the following files to MKS-1:

  9. MidiPlay
  10. MidiPlay.info
  11. Disk.info
  12. LinerNotes
  13. PlayList
  14.  
  15. copy the following files to MKS-1:MUSIC/
  16.  
  17. Magnetic_Rag
  18. Elite_Syncopations
  19. Pineapple_Rag
  20. Wall_St._Rag
  21.  
  22. copy "playmf" to the c directory on your system disk or hard drive
  23. copy "mdrt.library" to the libs directory on your system disk or hard drive
  24. you must also have ARP.library version 1.3 or later in your libs directory.

  26. The file called LinerNotes is the documentation for MidiPlay. You may view
  27. it as a regular text file, or by clicking on the "NOTES" gadget on the main
  28. screen of MidiPlay. It is highly recommended that you NOT fool with anything
  29. else with MidiPlay until you have read the docs. It is fairly painless and
  30. simple.

  32. After you have finished reading the LinerNotes you may then edit it to
  33. include notes on your music files.

  39. MidiPlay 1.0 does not support MIDI file names longer than 18 characters
  40. Version 2.0 will not have this limitation.
