- Those Crashes
-
- Version 0.90 should fix the problem which caused versions 0.81 and 0.82 to
- crash on some systems; the stack.
-
- LZ 0.90 has much smaller stack requirements than its predecessors (Xoper
- estimates current requirements to be around 1k). However, if you have any
- problems, you should raise your stack; 10,000 bytes should be more than enough.
-
- There have been no other reported problems with LZ; the only problem has
- been the stack crashing bug. Since my stack is always set at 20,000, I never
- noticed.
-
- I can be contacted at FidoNet node 1:250/642, or at the address supplied
- in the program's help screen.

-
- The Future
-
- The following programs didn't make it into the 0.90 release, and will be
- included in the next release:
-
- LX - The scaled down extractor
- LX.cmp - Compressed executable version of LX
- LX.doc - LX documentation
- LZConv - Utility to convert a directory full of .arc and .zoo files to .lzh
-
