- Put this in the same directory as Roads and Cities, or at
- least CD to that directory. Call the program, and it will
- tell you a lot of stuff...
- 1. Duplicate roads. If you have two or more roads going,
- say, from Boston to Providence, you'll be told about it.
- There could be a reason to have two roads - one is faster,
- the other is shorter - but it's usually an error.
- 2. Cities with no roads. You can't get there from here.
- 3. Cities with one road, two roads, or three. All quite
- possible, but if they are "unimportant" points, you might
- like to take them out and save space. For two/three roads,
- connecting cities could be linked by direct roads.
- 4. Road links which are longer than multiple links for the
- same route. Hey: "direct" gotta be at least as fast as "via".
- Run RoadRoute for these paths and see what's wrong.
