  13.   This is the 7th mailing of the AmigaUsers Compendium List.
  14.  
  15.    The idea of this list is to provide a database of users with a common
  16.  background of the Amiga. Having your name on the list shows others your
  17.  interests on the Amiga and the possibility of being able to help others
  18.  out.
  19.    The current list now has 128 names.
  20.  
  21.    Each entry in the list has the following format.

  23. Last Name, Given Name   Occupation, Company/Educat. Inst.  City,Prov/State
  24. Email Address
  25. System Configuration (ie Major Hardware/Rom version/Hard drive etc)
  26. Key-Numbers (more information about this below)
  27. Comment Line (ONE line only)
  28.  
  29. Key Numbers are numbers which will serve as an index into a list of
  30. 'interest' groups. These groups are ones that you might be able to answer
  31. questions in, or just areas that you are interested in. The numbers
  32. should be seperated by a SINGLE space and not a comma.

  34.   Each entry is limited to FIVE (5, cinq, V) lines.

  36.   An example entry in the proper format would be the following:

  42. Solid knowledge of graphics, and avid game player, and midi expert

  44.   Also provided with the Compendium is a program that will read
  45. in the list and will allow you to pull names based on the key numbers.
  46. I have broken down interest groups into main groups and then into
  47. sub-groups. So key number 6.2 would be Group 6 (Graphics) and 
  48. sub-group 2 (Art). Marking group 6.0 (ie the Group title) means you
  49. are interested in all areas of Amiga Graphics and/or are willing to
  50. answers questions on them. The Interest groups are listed below. 
  51. Lets make this work everyone. This is your chance to help others and
  52. get help from others. You will also be able to find out more about
  53. those 'others' on the net.
