  7.     Version 2.0 of the XPR spec is fully backwards compatible with
  8. the previous version, with a few minor exceptions, some due to actual
  9. documentation mistakes and others due to the fact that some definitions
  10. were not explicit enough.
  11.     This version also specifies some extensions to the spec, see the
  12. file xprotocol.doc.
  13.     It should be pointed out that the xprascii library is provided as
  14. an example mainly to keep the zoo archive small. Meanwhile, a nicer and
  15. more extensive example can be found in Rick Huebner's xprzmodem
  16. implementation, available on BIX in Amiga/listings. Also, the file
  17. xprfuncs.c is no longer the same as the one used in VLT, though
  18. vltface.asm is current.
