  1. New ControlRoom (for use with UltraCard V1.04b)

  3. This is a revised, expanded ControlRoom with new information on
  4. how to use UltraCard.  Copy it into your stacks directory over the
  5. previous ControlRoom, then click on More... to see the new frame.
  6.  
  7. If you run UltraCard from the CLI, make sure your stack is set to
  8. at least 10000.
  9.  
  10. If you run UltraCard from the icon, the stack is already set to 
  11. 10000.

  14. We have improved UltraCard significantly.
  15. It now has visual effects and is MUCH faster.
  16.  
  17. The visual effects are used when switching between frames:
  18.  
  19.     1.    Straight Blast (just blit as fast as possible)
  20.  
  21.     2.    Wipe Left to Right
  22.  
  23.     3.    Wipe Right to Left
  24.  
  25.     4.    Wipe Top to Bottom
  26.  
  27.     5.    Wipe Bottom to Top
  28.  
  29.     6.    Curtain Open
  30.  
  31.     7.    Curtain Close
  32.  
  33.     8.    Slide From Left
  34.  
  35.     9.    Slide From Right
  36.  
  37.     10.    Slide From Top
  38.  
  39.     11.    Slide From Bottom
  40.  
  41.     And more to follow.

  43. To experiment with the effects set the variables
  44. (using CHAT...)
  45.  
  46.     UP.EFFECT, DOWN.EFFECT, RIGHT.EFFECT or LEFT.EFFECT
  47.     to one of the 11 numbers above and then press the
  48.     appropriate arrow key to see the effect.

  50. Type (into the CHAT window:)

  52.     PUT effect-number INTO effect-name
  53.  
  54. Then press F6 to make the CHAT window go away.

  56. Then press the arrow key.
