- Subject: tertis.doc resubmission
-
-
- Prompted by the recent posting of Tetrix, I present without further ado
- my lean, mean version of the popular and addictive game.
-
- Features:
-
- o Does not open its own screen
- o Uses very little memory
- o Traditional keyboard controls
- o Traditional delay before "sticking"
-
- Instructions:
-
- From the CLI, type "tertis [n]" where n is the starting level(0-9)
-
- Use 'j' to move left, 'k' to rotate, 'l' to move right, and
- <space> to drop.
-
- The file "tertis.scores" will maintain a list of highest scorers.
-
- Note: This program busy-waits, and is thus unsuitable for use
- with faster processors.
-
- Acknowledgements:
-
- Thanks to Paul Nakada for writing the code on which this is based
- and Draz for determined, obsessive playtesting.
